Use gallon size ziplock bag. Do not use metal spoon or bowl for mixing. Do not refrigerate. If air gets inside, let it out. It is normal for the batter to thicken, bubble, and ferment.
Day 1: do nothing
Day 2-5: squeeze bag
Day 6: add 1 cup each of flour, sugar, milk
Day 7-9: squeeze bag
Day 10: in a bowl combine the batter & 1 cup each of flour, sugar, milk
Mix with a wooden spoon or spatula. Pour 4 one cup starts in gallon size bags; date them. Keep one for yourself and give 3 away to friends with these instructions:
To the remainder of the bowl (which isn’t much) add:
1 C. sugar 2 C. flour
½ C. oil ½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla 1 ½ tsp. baking powder
3 eggs ½ tsp. baking soda
½ C. milk 3 tsp. cinnamon
1 large or 2 small box instant pudding(and flavor)
*optional: nuts, raisins, chocolate chips
Pour into 1 bunt pan, 2 large loaf pans, or 4-5 loaf tins.
Grease pans and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour, add 15 min. if using 2 or more loaf pans.
